We grew up where the day starts with tide charts and ends with salt on everything. Twin brothers — surfers, anglers, spearfishermen, gardeners — taught early that gear either earns its keep or gets left behind.

Life in the water — and in the garden
Flats mornings. Reef free dives. Permaculture beds behind the house. The same question followed us everywhere: why does every “performance” layer feel like plastic against skin?
Every other sun shirt is made of plastic. Ours isn't.
The itch
We tried the usual poly sunshirts. Hot. Clammy. Shedding microplastics with every wash. Marketed as outdoor gear while built like disposable packaging. Something had to change.
The search for a plant-based answer
We landed on 55% Organic Hemp / 45% Organic Cotton — certified organic, semi-bleached natural, and fully made in the USA. Hemp and cotton sourcing, knitting, cutting, and sewing — all on American soil. Spandex-free by design: a relaxed fit that breathes and softens with every wash. 100% Plant-Based. Zero Polyester.
